Mission
At IMAGE (Social Welfare Organisation), our mission is to provide a comprehensive, one-stop service for maternal health, ensuring every mother and child receives the highest standard of care. From antenatal and postnatal care to safe delivery options including normal vaginal delivery (NVD) and C-sections, we support mothers at every stage. Our services also include family planning, immunizations, and treatment for tuberculosis, alongside educational initiatives that empower women and promote informed health choices. By integrating these essential services, we aim to create healthier communities and a sustainable future for families across Bangladesh.

Founder
Dr. Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury
The visionary behind IMAGE is the distinguished Professor Dr. Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury, formerly the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chattogram and an independent director at UCBL Bank. Dr. Chowdhury holds academic accolades including graduate and post-graduate degrees from the University of Chattogram, with a Ph.D. earned from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. His academic contributions extend globally, encompassing positions as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law, Kobe Gakuin University, Japan, and Glasgow University, UK. He has also served as a foreign faculty member at Ryukoku University, Japan, in addition to numerous accredited universities abroad, including those in the USA and Denmark. Dr. Chowdhury’s impressive academic journey includes being a Fulbright Senior Fellow at Harvard University, USA, and a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
